What do YOU Believe?

There's many Catholic's today .. most think they're good Catholic's. Just look at the politicians that proudly prance up to receive Holy Communion without a second thought when they've clearly trashed Dogma in public. But there's an even more sinister problem among Catholic's today ... and that is that the deal is that you believe it ALL, not just what's convenient for you or what fits into your individual lifestyle.
I guess this is where the term "cafeteria Catholic" came from. Folks that pick and choose what they will accept from Rome by way of the Magesterium and Dogma and what they deem irrelevant so they can keep on sinning with a clear (ahem) conscience.
It's all or nothing folks ... remember, ya can't be a LITTLE BIT PREGNANT ... you either ARE or you're NOT. PERIOD. We need to think a lot ... We need to PRAY, EVEN MORE! What DO we believe? What DO we hold DEAR? .... "For where your treasure is, there your heart will also be."

    Me too! We need to pray for our priests and even more so for the Bishops! So many have been stricken with complacency in these days of political correctness and not wanting to offend that they forget the initial objective is to make sure souls go to heaven! We are not helping our brothers if we confirm them in their sin rather than get into an uncomfortable situation. We need to lovingly show the error and the path to the solution along with the direction to the closest confessional! :)

    Please join me in praying daily that all Bishops and priests receive the grace to be the servants that Jesus would have them be!

Just a Note:

Through the grace of God and many prayers, I survived a double surgery (with cancer) in the fall of 2008. Since then has becoming increasingly important to me to enhance my prayer life. I have taken on the task of praying for strangers and those with little hope and much adversity. To that end, I've also begun (July '09), to make rosaries and related items to put prayer into the hands of as many as I can that will PRAY for others.

The world is at the precipice ... we need to TAKE ACTION ... NOW. Time for fence sitting is quickly coming to an end. We all need to do what ever we can in the way of PRAYER & PENANCE to beg God's Grace upon humanity that we may shake away this sinfulness and pride to get back on the road that leads to heaven and our Glorious Triune God!
